It’s not often you see a horror movie series fall so hard & so fast. If two or more films happened to score the same, their position will be decided on which one we’d rather watch again. This is our definitive ranking of the series to date based off the original score we gave each film when they were first reviewed. Leave it up to us to point you in the right direction of just what films in the franchise are actually any good. Surely its success can’t be unwarranted, right? There must be a good film or two, right? Before being resurrected with a reboot in 2021, also called Wrong Turn.įor all its success no-one ever seems to have a good word to say about the series that focused on a collection of mutated hillbillies living in the woods of a West Virginia. Starting in 2003, it would get a further 5 sequels ending in 2014. Which is odd because it was pretty successful. Few will find themselves mentioning or even thinking about the Wrong Turn series.
When you think of famous horror franchises what comes to mind? Halloween? Friday the 13th? A Nightmare on Elm Street? Maybe a more modern fan might lean towards Paranormal Activity or The Conjuring Universe.
